About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the US ARMY INTELLIGENCE ANDSECURITY CMD ACOFS, G4 FORTBELVOIR, VA. This position is opened to applicants within the local commuting area of Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties

Serves as a senior logistics information systems specialist in the Logistics Automation Office (LAO) of the Supply and Services Division (ACofS, G-4) US Army Intelligence and Security Command (HQ INSCOM). Resolves local Combat Service Support Automation Management Office (CSSAMO) support issues provided at the Host Installation/Theater Command level. Acts as an ACofS, G-4 technical area expert on the function and operation of INSCOM logistics automation hardware and operating system hardware. Conducts program management of all Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS) system requirements and monitors the proper documentation of logistics automation requirements within the Army Authorization Documents System (TAADS) command.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance based on a T5 (or equivalent level) investigation with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployments during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
• Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel may be required 25% or less of the time.
