You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (SYSANALYSIS) in the RANGES/TRGTS OPS/INSTRMTN & LABS GROUP, THREAT TARGET SYSTEMS DEPT, MOBILE & INTEGRATED THREAT DIV, THREAT SYS OPS & SUPPORT BR of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will identify customers’ information systems requirements and analyze information systems requirements or environment.
You will lead a team in designing and/or conducting analytical studies, cost-benefit analyses, or other research.
You will lead configuration control efforts for the project to include interfacing with the Configuration Data Managers (CDMs) and helping manage the change process for assigned projects.
You will facilitate phase, milestone, and final project reviews.
You will assist Integrated Threat Environmental Simulation (ITES) Project Director with IT business planning for the future.
You will develop and implement product/service release plans to include training curriculum and supporting documentation.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final top secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Intermediate (I) within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Leading teams and/or self in the execution of IT/Cybersecurity projects; 2) Planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout a project; 3) ensuring all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly; 4) Documenting each step of the process using various project management tool.
In addition, your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
