About the Position: Serves as Chief of the Resources Management Branch, CIO/CONOPS Division, Business Management Directorate, Army Contracting Command Redstone (ACC-RSA), with responsibility for management, planning, programming, coordinating, reviewing, and directing financial programs for the organization. This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 band encompasses grades 14 and 15 under the General Schedule (GS) system.

Duties

Responsible for the integration of ACC-RSA Contracting Center manpower, pay systems, through all phases of planning, programming, budgeting, execution and manpower processes. Serves as the principal integrator of civilian manpower, budget, and pay management functions for the Center. Review, evaluates and implements DOD, DA and AMC policies pertaining to programming, budgeting, funding and resource management for assigned programs. Manages the activities required to perform budget administration, financial management and resource management functions for the ACC-RSA organization. Review, analyzes requirements, designs, develops and institutionalizes automated information systems to support studies and analyses of complex resource or organizational structure issues. Conducts comprehensive analyses of resources (dollars and manpower) to support the mission. Establish/ensure adherence to schedules and priorities; interprets technical policy, procedures, and regulations for subordinates; provides technical and administrative advice and assistance.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field Business-Financial Management or the incumbent must be able to obtain certification within 24 months of appointment.
  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 10%.
