Duties
Serves as the Operations Support Analyst within the Director's Support Group (DSG), Office of the Director, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Responsible for delivering direct support to the Director and other Senior Leaders in the Command Suite.
Manages and coordinates incoming correspondence and tasks from various organizations within the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD).
Manages internal taskings within the Agency's headquarters and with its six Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) and three Regional Commands.
Receives and analyze incoming tasks on behalf of the Agency and senior leadership from OSD, to include keeping apprised of and tracking inquiries
-And reports from Congress, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Department of Defense Inspector General (DoD/IG).
Responsible for planning, analyzing, managing, staffing, issuing, and directing work assignments to support OSD and DLA leadership priorities.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
GS-12:
- Performing operational administrative management, project management execution and conducting comprehensive analyses that require complete assessment of interrelated issues and tasks.
- Performing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analytical and evaluation methods and techniques to identify, analyze, evaluate, and advise on complex problems and initiatives.
GS-13:
- Responsible for the completion and integration of varying work products to include the assessment and analysis of high-level staff packages, decision memorandums, staff studies, decision briefings, and other products.
- Identifying, evaluate and troubleshoot and administrative processes affecting the quality and quantity of services provided to independently isolate and define previously unknown conditions.
- Analyzing processes, interprets requirements, manages and tracks output, to determine cause and solution, with recommendations generating significant changes to administrative aspects of programs and business practices.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
