About the Position: This position is located with the Army Substance Abuse Program Division, Directorate of Human Resources in Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Duties
Administer the Civilian Drug Testing Program for testing civilian employees identified as Test Designated Positions.
Plan, develop, coordinate, and direct operations of the Installation Drug Testing Collection Point (IDCP).
Develops appropriate internal controls to monitor supply usage and budget expenditures.
Oversee data input of urinalysis testing for the drug testing automated data systems.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) is required.
- Temporary duty travel of 5% may be required.
- Incumbent must be certified by the DA Drug Testing Coordinator Certification Course within nine months of assuming their duties.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes ensuring specimens are handled with strict adherence to established regulations; consolidating and/or analyzing statistical data on the installation urinalysis program; and overseeing data input of urinalysis testing for the drug testing automated data systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
