About the Position: The purpose of this position is to serve as a supply technician for the Medical Material Branch for the McDonald Army Health Center. This position is located at McDonald Army Medical Center Fort Eustis, Virginia.

Duties

Develop plans for storage and space utilization, protection and issue of materials and substances in accordance with all applicable guidelines. Determine the sequence for loading materials, organizing incoming shipments. Unload trucks, unpack containers, and check contents against shipping documents and purchase orders; report damages and/or discrepancies. Assume custodial and property responsibility for stock as it is initially received, checked, assembled, and internally transferred to another area. Insure the safe receipt, storage, and movement of hazardous, toxic and refrigerated materials in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is therefore subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations.
• A pre-employment physical is required.
