You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Corporate Business & Analysis Group, Program & Business Analysis Dept of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will assist senior analysts in budget development, execution, forecasting, trending, analysis, and detailed financial reporting on overhead, direct and external funding.
You will assist with data call responses including but not limited to DARQ, IM planning.
You will provide input to various data call requests.
You will be responsible for providing financial management advice and guidance regarding financial regulations, policies, and procedures.

- This is a Financial Management Level 1 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
To Qualify for the DA-02
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DA-01 or GS 4) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Financial Management Analyst, one year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4. Experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Analyzing and evaluating data to identify anomalies for correction and generate solutions; 2) Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point to create data analysis; 3) Performing data entry into automated systems; 4) Communicating orally and in writing to deliver clear messages and aid team collaboration efforts.
To Qualify for the DA-03
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band (DA-02 or GS 5-8) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Financial Management Analyst. Specialized experience must include some or all of the following: 1) Analyzing, evaluating and interpreting data to provide recommendations, analysis, and generate solutions; 2) Monitoring and communicating budget related requirements and presenting initial budget and execution plans for approval; 3) Working knowledge of Navy ERP, Business Objects, and the financial formulation and execution processes.
