This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of program managers and program analysts that oversee and implement Title 10 and Title 22- supported international military training and education (IMTE) programs and activities that support security cooperation (SC) and building partner capacity
programs that advance national security goals and objectives.
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER at the GS-0340-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Serving as Advisor to the President of DSCU and the Director of DSCA for the administration and management of international military training and education programs and policies for the Department of Defense (DoD), and other assigned programs.
Serving as a subject-matter expert (SME) for the administration and management of international training and education programs and requirements to help stakeholders with innovative approaches on how best to achieve OSD Policy goals and objectives.
Researching and preparing materials for senior leaders' testimony at congressional hearings and in response to congressional and public inquiries concerning international SC training programs.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-15 grade level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service:
Leading and supervising a diverse team of individuals to include assigning duties, prioritizing projects, evaluating performance and providing guidance on complex and/or unique assignments
Managing DoD training and education programs and policies for an organization
Representing and/or advising senior leadership at various meetings and events
Researching, evaluating, and finding solutions for complex, urgent or unique problems
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
