Duties
Distributes work as a Team Leader assigned by the supervisor; coaches the team in selection of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques and provides instructions and explanation of assignments and job techniques.
Articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion.
Ensures that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services .
Trains or arranges for the training of team members in methods and techniques of team building and works in teams to accomplish tasks or projects and provide or arrange for specific training necessary for accomplishment of individual and team tasks.
Analyzes workload-based resource requirements to develop and/or substantiate team manning and skills projections to make recommendations to the supervisor.
Serves as the Quality Team's subject matter expert in cataloging data; identifies areas of concern, provides recommendations for corrective action and/or process improvements.
Performs continual review of cataloging data and the impacts on DLA/International/Service operations as they relate to existing cataloging rules and procedures to ensure the existing methods are adhering to policy and procedures.
Researches, learn and applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
Serves as the DLA Logistics Information Service Quality Team Lead during briefings and conferences for cataloging systems and policies regarding Federal Logistics Information Services (FLIS).

Qualifications
To qualify for a Lead Logistics Quality Data Analyst, GS-0301-12 your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Knowledge of Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS) policies and procedures and logistics data management tools to plan, schedule and conduct projects to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
Experience with cataloging methods and processes to review and analyze adherence to policy and make recommendations on Federal Cataloging System program policies and procedures.
Ability to perform analytical and evaluative work in order to develop and execute phases of workload balance.
Organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to negotiate effectively with management, and accept and implement recommendations.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
