The U.S. Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) is the Army's primary medical logistics and sustainment command, responsible for managing the global supply chain and medical materiel readiness across the Total Force. Duties
Serve as the expert of military personnel management programs, policies and procedures for the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC).
Manage a variety of military personnel management programs and systems in support of Soldiers worldwide.
Provide staff advice and consultation on proposed personnel initiatives along with new or revised policies and procedures impacting the command's military personnel programs.
Oversee a staff responsible for military personnel management policy and programs, Reserve coordination and management, military awards management, and military personnel service support for all Soldiers assigned to the command.
Conduct studies and analyses to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of ongoing military manpower utilization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has been designated "Key" and shall not be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization as doing so would seriously impair the
capability of the organization to function effectively.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: (1) Utilizing automated personnel software; (2) Preparing reports or briefings; (3) Evaluating policies and programs for efficiency and effectiveness; (4) Utilizing military personnel systems including but not limited to: IPPS-A, the Active-Duty Officer Assignment Interactive Module Version 2 (AIM 2), Evaluations Entry System (EES), and AMHRR Record Management Application (RMA)(IPERMS).
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
