About the Position: This position is located in the Defense Health Agency (DHA) under the policy guidance and direction of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD (HA)) in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Duties

Work closely with managers to identify significant budget or procedural problem areas with civilian payroll, gather pertinent data, evaluate findings and recommend corrections and or appropriate courses of action. Assist customers with the implementation of corrective actions for civilian payroll errors. Provide to activities, GFEBS obligation data, financial data and statistical analysis of financial and accounting systems information. Provide and develop information on how to access, install, and utilize these systems to including developing user manuals, and administering training.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• One year trial/probationary period may be required.
