About the Position: This position is located at General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Serves as the training instructor for the military treatment facility. Delivers standardized training courses to clinical staff on the use of Electronic Health Record.
A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized.
Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
Conduct training for clinical staff on how to access and use electronic health systems for documenting patient care.
Provide accurate training guidance to the serviced population within the assigned medical treatment facility for effective training requirement.
Assess the effectiveness of educational programs to make suggestions for improvement.
Brief management on new strategies for integrating or improving training.
Analyze data and trends to prepare reports on training program effectiveness.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that demonstrates a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction, which includes developing and evaluating training material and providing instructional training in a classroom environment on a regular basis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Education, Business Administration, Public Relations

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
