This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent of this position would take on the responsibilities of Release Manager and Configuration Management Analyst. Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-11, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in ensuring a balanced and logical approach for managing software and hardware releases across information technology (IT) projects. AND
Experience in ensuring that accurate and reliable information about Configuration Items (CIs) are identified, controlled, tracked and managed according to established standards and procedures.
OR
EDUCATION: You may substitute education for specialized experience as follows: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree.
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: You may qualify by a combination of experience and education.
Graduate level education: A degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. Only education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (i.e., beyond the second year) of graduate education is creditable toward meeting the specialized experience requirement.
All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions. Attach a copy of transcript or list of college courses designating semester or quarter hours earned to ensure proper credit.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
