You will serve as a Management Analyst at the GG 11 grade level for the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity (MCIA) by performing duties as the Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) for the Defense Travel System (DTS), and Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Travel Charge Card Program (GTCCP). Leads all efforts to include, but not limited to, the control and coordination of all required actions (pre-screen, approve training funds) in support both military and civilian employees.
Duties
You will lead efforts to control, but not limited to the control and coordination to pre-screen and approve travel and training funds.
You will collaborate with resources management personnel to ensure that the organization's receive the correct amount of funds that will meet the needs of the organization for travel, and, or training.
You will analyze and assess reports to include, but not limited to, funding lines, other organization's reports, delinquent reports and use those reports to draw conclusions.
You will prepare and present monthly briefings and provides status reports to senior leadership as required.
You will evaluate relevant materials to verify importance and extracts all significant data pertaining to the assigned subject matter.
Requirements

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1) Performing duties as the Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) for the Defense Travel System (DTS), and Agency Program Coordinator (APC) for the Government Travel Charge Card Program (GTCCP);
2) Implementing and managing the day-to-day activities during system operations (e.g. personnel data download and review, business process analysis, DTA training and Commercial Travel Office (CTO) connectivity); and,
3) Serving as a liaison for the command or organization with internal and external agencies across the community on matters related to assigned areas.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
