You will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Mechanic Leader in the Manchester Fuel Department Maintenance Division of NAVSUP FLC PUGET SOUND.
Duties
You will lead a maintenance staff of 5-12 civilian employees who maintain, inspect, install, repair, and modify petroleum fuel storage and distribution facilities, support infrastructure, rolling stock, and piers and wharves.
You will pass on to other workers the instructions received from supervisors and get work started by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led.
You will work along with other workers, set the pace, and demonstrate proper work methods.
You will ensure need plans, blueprints, materials, and tools are available and needed stock is obtained from supply locations.
You will repair, overhaul, and rebuild engines for fuel dispensing trucks and other vehicles, forklifts, oil skimmers, boats, barges, as well as portable equipment.
You will select and comply with appropriate repair specifications and procedures.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
