You will serve as a Fuel Distribution System Mechanic Supervisor in the Manchester Fuel Department Maintenance Division of NAVSUP FLC PUGET SOUND.
Duties
You will supervise maintenance operations in order to maximize reliability and efficiency of the fuel
distribution system, prevent the loss of bulk petroleum products due to leaks or spills, and protect the
environment
You will review maintenance procedures to ensure proper compliance with updates to all applicable rules, regulations, and laws.
You will provide detailed level planning for preventative maintenance actions.
You will trace and locate defects and causes of mechanical problems to determine type and extent of necessary repairs.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability and have performed a full range of Fuel Distribution Systems Mechanic Supervisory tasks working under general supervision as demonstrated by operating, overseeing and performing maintenance operation in order to maximize reliability and efficiency of the fuel distribution system; investigate problems relative to fuel facilities maintenance and make recommendations for resolution; ensure needed daily and weekly work plans, blueprints, material and tools are available; Repair, overhauls and rebuilds engines for fuel dispensing trucks and other vehicles as well as portable equipment; inspect, tests and performs all phases of liquid fuel system and component maintenance including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification; Measure, cuts, threads, joins, and fits piping as required to perform system modification or to repair/replace system components; Properly document maintenance, inspection, and repair and routinely perform preventative maintenance of all systems and components. I work on my own initiative under general supervision subject to occasional inspection.
