You will serve as a Supervisory Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Supply Branch; Property Management Division; Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. If selected, you will serve as the Code 1072/1073 Supply Branch Head
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-05 is equivalent to GS-13/14.
Duties
You will serve as the NSWC Dahlgren subject matter expert in property management, responsible for proper execution of Operating Materials and Supplies (OM and S) supply support operations and General Equipment.
You will direct, coordinate, and oversee the technical efforts of the Branch, which includes subordinates and team leaders.
You will supervise, direct, motivate, and lead a subordinate staff.
You will serve as the liaison with the warehouse service provider.
You will coordinate supply chain management functions (e.g.: inventory and warehouse management, packing and crating, disposal, shipping and receiving and receipt/issue and control).
You will ensure that proper physical accountability is attained through the life-cycle of the material through annual inventory planning and reporting.
You will work directly with the Purchase Requisition Branch Head (code 1071) to ensure proper material and financial accountability is attained through supply chain management functions.
You will generate metrics and reports to ensure proper execution of supply functions.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing the functionality of a supply program (e.g. inventory management, distribution facilities and storage management, packaging, cataloging) to administer or improve supply processing functions for an organization.
