About the Position: Serves as Management Analyst (Career Program Specialist/Workforce Proponent Analyst) for Army Civilian Career Management Agency (ACCMA) in an assigned Career Field (CF). Works as advisor to the CF Director for Army civilians ranging from the intern level to members of the senior executive service.
Duties
Serves as advisor to the CF Director for Army civilians ranging from the intern level to members of the senior executive service.
Provides analytical subject matter expertise for the Housing Management Career Field personnel within the Army Civilian Force Structure to the Department of the Army Functional Chief, Functional Advisor, and Command Career Field Managers.
Implements and evaluates career management programs for the education and development of careerists.
Leads Subject Matter Expert (SME) panels and screening boards to evaluate various aspects of the Housing Management Career Field.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing, evaluating and implementing talent management programs (e.g., training, education, and professional development); conducting workforce analysis and management studies to determine funding, training, personnel or material requirements for federal civilian personnel; and providing technical human resource management guidance to internal/ external stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
