You will serve as a Management Analyst (Directives/Forms) in the Regulations and Directives Branch of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.

Duties

You will conduct complex management analysis studies covering a wide variety of administrative systems procedures, methods, and functions in Navy medical centers and hospitals and other medical facilities. You will organization and command responsibilities and relationships; administrative operations including methods, procedures, practices, workload, and directives; reports and forms management; management improvement; and management surveys. You will contact civilian employees, supervisors, and officer and enlisted personnel in BUMED, Navy Medicine activities. You will coordination with other military services, other Federal agencies, and civilian institutions. You will prepare detailed, analytical reports on problems and studies, and includes specific recommendations for improvements. You will perform special assignments involving the development of management criteria, appraisals, technical data, and briefing material, as required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Specialized Experience. Examples of Qualifying Experiences: Experience corresponding with the Department of Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Secretary of the Navy, and Chief of Naval Operations. Experience using military and business writing styles. Must have strong writing ability to include clear and concise business writing. Experience administrating policies and correspondence procedures as described by the Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual and the Department of Defense Manual for Written Material. Experience using enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2). Experience ability to interface with flag level and Senior Executive Service leadership. Experience communicating when interfacing with staff members of the House and Senate, the Offices of the Secretary Defense, Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders, Secretary of the Navy, Chief of Naval Operations, Headquarters of the Marine Corps, and other Service Secretaries. Experience applying principles, policies, and practices of program management. Experience using laws, regulations, and policies applicable to Navy Medicine. Experience effectively and intelligently at all levels in order to promote a harmonious and cooperative atmosphere with all who have contact with the Secretariat.
