Duties
Develop and provide consolidated Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) requirements and recommendation.
Serve as the G-6 member for development of detailed management and implementation plans that staffs signal unit equities of authorization documents..
Develop management planning for the acquisition/installation of communications systems.
Develop supplemental policy and guidance to implement DoD information management directives in support of the command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
- This position requires a Drug Test.
- This position requires the employee to occasionally travel away from the normal duty station less than 20% of the time.
- The employee must file an annual Financial Disclosure Statement.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes specialized experience in 1) evaluating, analyzing, developing, managing, or improving communications systems, procedures, and requirements that demonstrate knowledge of current developments and trends in communications concepts and technology, 2) telecommunications and automation policy, technology, programs, regulations, laws, principles, practices, and techniques, capabilities, and limitations of a variety of information systems pertaining to transmission and/or data systems, and security and budget requirements to integrate requirements to meet current, future, and long-range missions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
