The position serves as Program Analyst assigned to the Primary Care Support Office and reports directly to the Supervisory Management and Program Analyst for Primary Care to provide leadership with administrative support and data analysis services for Associate Chief of Staff (ACOS) Ambulatory Care Service, Primary Care and ancillary programs for the ACOS Ambulatory Care Service, Chief Medical Officers (CMO) and the Primary Care Management and Program Analyst.
Duties
Major duties of position include but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support and data analysis services to leadership.
Deal effectively with other administrative and professional personnel throughout the Medical Center.
Monitor and maintain provider profiles, staffing and room assignments, monitor panel sizes, oversight and correction of transmission errors, and review/rectification of incorrect patient assignments.
Establish and manage PCMM team, position set up, input changes and additions.
Coordinate with the Traveling Veteran Coordinator (TVC) to ensure services for Veterans outside their home catchment area are seamlessly provided needed care while on travel.
Maintain internal SharePoint site for the Primary Care services; Compile and maintain all ACOS and Primary Care mail groups which includes adding newly hired staff and deleting departing staff.
Manipulate data and create formulas and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM tour of duty to be determined by supervisor, based on organizational needs.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 09/29/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-9 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-7. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience and/or education s described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience in analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues and studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of PACT, PCMM Web and Primary Care operations; Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulations, policies and precedents; Experience planning, scheduling and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations; Experience with PCMM Web, VistA, ACRP, CPRS, VSSC, SQL, Pyramid Analytics etc. and the ability to utilize these systems effectively in the daily operations; Experience with problem solving to include applying a high degree of resourcefulness, ingenuity and inventiveness to a variety of studies, investigations and assignments; Exceptional ability to design data gathering systems and evaluate quality of information, gained, analyze and manipulate data, formulate recommendations based on data gathered and determine impact of recommendations and/or actions; Exceptional ability to effectively deliver written and oral presentations. Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or two (2) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position, or LL.B. or J.D. if directly related (Transcript Required). Physical Requirements: The work is primarily sedentary, with some walking, standing, bending, and carrying light objects. No special physical demands are required.
