This position is located in the DANTES Credit for Prior Learning and Data Analysis Division. DANTES is a Defense Support Service Center (DSSC) Directorate under DHRA. The incumbent requires a strong background in developing and implementing data collection, reporting and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency, data quality, and data governance for Voluntary Education (VolEd) programs.
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST (DATA SYSTEMS ANALYSIS) at the GS-0343-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Evaluating and cataloging VolEd data sets to determine opportunities for data interoperability.
Coordinating data interoperability efforts to maximize VolEd program delivery and effectiveness.
Drafting clear and technically accurate User Stories and/or tickets covering emerging program requirements and system errors.
Developing and implementing data collection, reporting and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency, data quality, and data governance.
Analyzing program requirements and changes based on interactions with the field and the Services VolEd community.
Developing and executing project plans, establishing priorities, and tracking project requirements for VolEd programs.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service:
Planning, organizing, and executing VolEd projects to maximize effectiveness and align with stakeholder requirements;
Generating, documenting, and tracking technical requirements across a project lifecycle;
Planning and executing data inventory and data interoperability efforts; Aggregating data to support and the effective use of data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
