Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Public Health Advisor, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Providing leadership in: Managing staff and resources; Assisting the Office Director in planning and carrying out program development and implementation activities; Assuring a cohesive, integrated approach to the accomplishment of team projects and programs and the execution of inter-Center, intra-Agency, and inter-Agency activities; Providing technical advice and expertise to program staff as well as senior management of Center for Mental Health Service (CMHS) and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: Manages the planning and developing, implementing, and monitoring of quality improvement systems in behavioral health. Develops or revises the behavioral health program policies, procedures, program, and/or activities. Supervises or leads and directs staff and supports personnel in the behavioral health care industry. Responsible for training staff in the behavioral health program.
