You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the TEST & EVALUATION MANAGEMENT DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST & EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Duties
You will lead test projects aboard Navy and/or USCG ships testing combat systems, weapon systems, and missiles as the single point of contact for all shipboard activities for the event.
You will define, plan, and execute critical projects which are complex and involve multiple disciplines and organizations both internal and off station, including contractors.
You will provide both expert consultant system services and technical assistance related to In-Service Engineering, operations, testing, evaluation, maintenance, and repair of the AEGIS Combat System.
You will plan meetings and provide engineering services to support development of test event scenarios, execution plans, and test plans.
You will apply project and budget management principles to technical and programmatic elements to meet overall NSWC PHD and sponsor objectives.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing plans to conduct test events, produce engineering assessments, and resolve issues impacting ship combat and weapon systems.
