The ideal candidate is able to create, develop and deliver/execute national communication campaigns to convey complex information concerning agency programs, activities, and services. This individual will provide technical and professional communications support towards the successful accomplishment of the agency’s goals and objectives, especially related to disaster and response and recovery activities.

To qualify for this position at theIC-13 level (starting salary $112,015), you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following:  Developing communication strategies to convey emergency management topics and initiatives. Planning, producing, and evaluating communication products to convey program information. Establishing and managing an overarching strategic communications framework for an organization.
