Duties
Responsible for directing Product Management Branch as a second level supervisor and principal authority regarding all phase of Product Data Management.
Responsible for effective implementation and execution of Product Data Management Program and serves as principal member of the Data Requirements Review Board.
Provides expertise to integrate and collaborate with other functional areas to deliver cross functional solutions to end-to-end problems.
Responsible for planning and designing a combination of logistics data solutions to meet worldwide logistics customer requirements.
Develops guidance pertaining to functions of packaging, preservation, packing, crating, box fabrication, marking, and palletization of hazardous and other materials for storage and shipment.

Qualifications
To qualify for a Supervisory Logistics, Data, and Packaging Specialist, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To qualify at the GS-13 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Understanding of product data management and packaging requirements
Resolving discrepancies, complaints, and conflicts related to packaging and product data management
Ensures complete and accurate Product/Technical data for a successful procurement.
Providing guidance and training in the Product/Technical Data management to personnel and performs quality reviews of work accomplished by subordinates.
Analyzing technical source documents.
