Duties
This position is within the Training Analysis and Allocations Branch (TRAAB), Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC), Training Management Operations (TMO) Directorate under the Office of the Associate Director for Training Operations located in Glynco, GA. Typical duties include:

The qualification requirements listed below must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level planning, scheduling and/or coordinating resources and allocations for law enforcement training programs.
-OR-
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree -OR- 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree -OR- L.L.M, if related to the work of the position to be filled. Education must be from an accredited college or university.

Equivalent combination of specialized experience and graduate level education. Only graduate education in excess of the first 36 semester hours will be combined with the specialized experience.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps and AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
The Office of Personnel Management must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees.
