This position is part of the Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security, Department of Energy. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will analyze and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency with which assigned DOE organizations and their components carry out their programs and functions and to develop information, advice, and recommendations for management to use in making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of agency operations and management.

- This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.

Qualifications
GS-13 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Serving as an analyst or advisor to management on analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of a government program and its operations.
Analyzing alternatives to identify potential resolutions to problems.
Experience using electronic systems managing information (such as eDOCS).
Researching current or new management practices for application to programs or operations.
GS-14 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Overseeing administrative systems and activities as a management and program analyst and supports leadership.
Consolidating data as necessary and reviews to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability.
Develop and maintain assigned programming data/information systems (such as eDOCS).
Providing technical guidance and advice on the most appropriate method or procedure of analysis and evaluation.
