You will serve as a ELECTRONIC DIGITAL CONTROL MECHANIC LEADER in the INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION SUPPORT DEPARMENT, PLANT MAINTENANCE SERVICE, CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE SHOP of FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHWEST.

Duties
You will perform diagnostic troubleshooting techniques that isolate faults that have resulted in a machine system failure.
You will provide leadership to shop personnel, assist in training of personnel as it pertains to equipment and equipment maintenance.
You will be responsible for quality, functional accuracy, and timely completion ow work, but of subordinates.
You will adjust the daily allocation of subordinates to complete repairs of machinery in a manner consistent with the customer's constantly changing priorities.

- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

A) Have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including: Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and align industrial electronic computer, controlled automated test equipment, computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools, computer controlled automated material handling (AMHS) storage and retrieval systems and a wide variety of general purpose mini and microcomputer systems and equipment; Thorough knowledge of the operating principles of general purpose computers used in industrial applications and their peripheral devices; Comprehensive understanding of digital computer logic and use a wide variety of electronic test equipment; Perform diagnostic troubleshooting techniques to isolate faults resulting in system failure; Write maintenance and diagnostic programs when required; Provide technical guidance to other personnel who assist during the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance to sure accuracy and reliability.
B) Have the ability to perform the full range of tasks including: Assist with maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and aligning industrial electronic computer, controlled automated test equipment, computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools, computer controlled automated material handling (AMHS) storage and retrieval systems and a wide variety of general purpose mini and microcomputer systems and equipment; Knowledge of the operating principles of general purpose computers used in industrial applications and their peripheral devices; Have an understanding of digital computer logic and use a variety of electronic test equipment; Perform diagnostic troubleshooting techniques to isolate faults resulting in system failure; Provide guidance to other personnel who assist during the performance of preventive and corrective maintenance.
C) Have the ability to perform common tasks involving maintaining, repairing, troubleshooting and aligning industrial electronic computer, controlled automated test equipment, computer numerical controlled (CNC) machine tools, computer controlled automated material handling (AMHS) storage and retrieval systems and a variety of general purpose mini and microcomputer systems and equipment; General knowledge of the operating principles of general purpose computers used in industrial applications and their peripheral devices; General understanding of digital computer logic and a variety of electronic test equipment; Perform diagnostic troubleshooting techniques to isolate faults resulting in system failure.
