As the Spaceflight Readiness Training aircraft Program Manager for Johnson Space Center's Aircraft Operations Division, you will be responsible for coordinating activities leading to the health & sustainment of the Spaceflight Readiness Training aircraft fleet. You will interact with external customers and/or Division engineering, operations, & maintenance personnel to coordinate activities within the program, develop business activities, & manage program budgets to meet Division requirements.
Duties
Manage budget and cost accounting for Spaceflight Readiness Training aircraft platforms, including T-38N aircraft assigned to Johnson Space Center’s Aircraft Operations Division.
Communicate with external customers to develop business opportunities utilizing Johnson Space Center’s Aircraft Operations Division expertise in maintaining and sustaining T-38 aircraft which are utilized throughout the Department of Defense.
Present T-38 business opportunities and projects for Aircraft Operations Division engineering, maintenance, and operations branch concurrence, and Division leadership approval.
Manage communication between various aircraft platform team members and the branches within the Division.
Manage various external agreements including, but not limited to, agreements with U.S. government agencies, international partners, and commercial entities.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.
Supporting projects required to sustain or modify aircraft and/or performing aircraft operation/maintenance management or aircraft planning, programming, and budgeting activities;
Developing or coordinating technical, cost, and schedule information applicable to aircraft operations and/or maintenance;
Interfacing with stakeholders to understand technical, cost, and schedule requirements and providing status reports as requested.
