You will serve as a Resources Assistant in the Weapons and Energetics Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will provide security and program support assistance to include personnel security, data management and control, and test support for an advanced technology project.
You will assist in the areas of program planning and protection and may assist the project’s Security Officer in duties related to personnel, physical, and Information Systems (IS) security.
You will maintain proper accountability of documents, prepare and track controlled items and maintain databases as required.
You will generate, modify, and review documents and briefs as required, and ensure all configuration data management requirements are met across the project, with a focus on simulation event setups.
You will maintain proper processes and procedures to support classified simulation events, assist with maintaining control access lists, and ensure simulation events are conducted in accordance with all guidelines and constraints.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

At DG-03 Level:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04/05) or pay band (DG-02) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Resources Assistant. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Utilizing processes and procedures for handling classified material; (2) Performing work related to database entry, tracking and maintaining digital libraries; (3) Making purchases using government purchase card; and (4) Preparing travel orders and vouchers.
At DG-04 Level:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05/06) or pay band (DG-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Resources Assistant. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Handling sensitive information to include PII, classified, and controlled data; (2) Performing work related to database entry, tracking and maintaining digital libraries; (3) Making purchases using government purchase card, preparing travel orders and vouchers, and assigning action tasking and due dates; (4) Utilizing processes and procedures for test support; and (5) Writing official correspondence and assigning action tasking and due dates.

DG-03 Level:
Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
