Duties

You will serve as a Police Record Clerk (Office Automation), performing a variety of clerical, administrative and office automation functions in support of the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES). You will review and corrects deficiencies found in incoming, unedited, and un-coded draft Law Enforcement Reports (LER) to ensure that the charges received are adequate or match the specific offense. You will verify, research and request data with the appropriate agency when case reports are unclear or data elements, charges or codes are missing or inaccurate. You will serve as the Post Debarment, and Revocation and Suspension of Installation Driving Privileges clerk for USAG-Hawaii. You will process all restricted and re-instated, driving privilege requests for the installation.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing knowledge of military, state and federal laws to review and establish police records and reports; set, track, and maintain suspense's for police records and reports; and establish and maintain police records. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
