About the Position: As a Test Administrator, you will administer tests to individuals wishing to enter the military and high school students participating in the Career Exploration Program.
This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis". Intermittent employees are not eligible for benefits.
Travel is required to testing sites, personally owned vehicles are required to be used and travel reimbursement is authorized.
Duties
Conduct specified aptitude examination sessions ranging in size from 1 to 40 persons (Enlistment tests) and 1 to 250 persons (student tests).
Instruct applicants on testing procedures and start, observe, time and end the test or test segment as directed.
Monitor applicants to detect possible imposters and deal with those imposters.
Maintain test room control and decorum with the assistance of military recruiters who assist in maintaining student test session control and test security.
Prepare applicant packages and mail documents to appropriate offices for action.
Pick up and return controlled test material at the designated storage, a remote testing location, or shipping point.
Maintain enlistment test booklets, student test booklets, and Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) at the local test site.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Incumbent may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driving license.
- Incumbent may be required to travel up to 100% to perform duties.
- Incumbent will be working an intermittent work schedule. Regular work hours cannot be guaranteed.
- Incumbent may be required to lift objects up to 35 lbs.

General Experience: One year of general experience. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as, answering telephones, greeting visitors, and filing and operate office equipment.
OR
Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60. Add the two percentages.
