Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
You will assign work to subordinates based on priorities, the difficulty of the work to be performed, and the capabilities of employees.
You will develop performance standards and evaluate work performance of subordinates.
You will evaluate reports to monitor compliance with system requirements and procedures.
You will participate in system analyses of programs and problems associated with supply systems.
You will interview candidates for positions in the unit. Recommend appointment, promotion or reassignment to such positions.
You will correct data errors.
You will composes correspondence explaining system requirements.
You will recommend modifications and improvements to automated systems.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required to include being recalled back to duty.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. You must be willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You are required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assessing supply trends for the division and creating plans to optimize supply support, providing recommendations for process improvement, AND planning and directing work for employees.

Education may be substituted for Specialized Experience for the GS-09 level as follows:
Successful completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
