You will serve as a Supervisory Operations Program Manager in the Command and Control Communications and Cyber (C4) Directorate, C4 Operations Division (J63) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.

Duties

You will coordinate with component SMEs to gather C4 operational situational awareness, requirements, and concerns You will utilize policy to define C4 information reporting requirements, processes, methods, and tools. You will proactively engage and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders. You will research, review, and interpret policies, develop participating contacts, participate in battle rhythm events, or other activities, as needed. You will manage the conduct of C4 support to current operations, future operations, exercises, and/or mission assurance by defining success and guiding the team. You will develop, modify, or provide input to project plans. You will implement project plans to meet objectives.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.10
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area DOD 8570.01-M level I within 12 months of appointment.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Coordinating with component and other subject matter experts (SME) to gather operational situational awareness, requirements, and concerns. Utilizing policy to define information reporting requirements, processes, methods, and tools. Researching, reviewing, and interpret policies. Developing participating contacts and participate in battle rhythm events, or other activities, as needed.
