This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for managing, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the development, planning, and implementation of the International Professional Military Education (I-PME) Alumni Connectivity and Continuing Education (ACCE) Initiative.

Duties

As a SUPV PROGRAM MANAGER at the GS-0340-14 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Managing, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the development, planning, and implementation of the International Professional Military Education (I-PME) Alumni Connectivity and Continuing Education (ACCE) Initiative. Creating and maintaining a network of international military and civilian defense and security professionals to deepen I-PME alumni engagement activities by DoD schoolhouses, and establishing a synchronized approach to tracking and engaging international alumni in support of the Geographic Combatant Commands and U.S. interests. Leading and supervising a diverse team of individuals to include assigning duties, prioritizing projects, evaluating performance and providing guidance on complex and/or unique assignments. Serving as Product Owner, within DSCA, for determining and overseeing requirements for the selection and development of a common international PME database to improve alumni information consolidation and alumni engagement.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Leading and supervising a diverse team of individuals to include assigning duties, prioritizing projects, evaluating performance and providing guidance on complex and/or unique assignments; Creating and maintaining a network of contacts to collaborate with to achieve program objectives; Serving as the subject matter expert for a new program or initiative for an organization; Creating and maintaining a database to track and store various data. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
