This position is located in the Office of Communications, Headquarters, of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of planning and coordinating strategic communications that affects a wide range of the activities of the Corporation and general public.

Duties

-Maintains accurate daily personnel and facilities schedules, ensuring all necessary webcast and video recording functions are staffed appropriately.

Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Additional qualifications information can be found here. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 09 level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience utilizing conventional and hybrid production platforms, equipment, and digital media channels; AND experience scheduling multimedia events and/or broadcast productions. OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in the following fields; commercial art, fine arts, art history, industrial design, architecture, drafting, interior design, photography, visual communication, or other fields related to the position. Some positions may also require subject-matter knowledge of medicine, science, or technical equipment or LL.M., if related to the work of this position. OR COMBINATION of graduate level education as described above, and the specialized experience as described above, that together meet the qualification requirements for this position. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement.
