You will serve as the Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) Program Office Parts Manager in the Sensor Portfolio (PD2) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, located in Port Hueneme, CA.
Duties
You will represent and report to the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) 6.0 CEC In-Service Principal Assistant Program Manager and Fleet Support Principal Assistant Program Manager.
You will serve as the PEO IWS 6.0 representative to PEO IWS Enterprise Working Groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for Production and Logistics Material Management.
You will leverage the Matrix support organization in PEO IWS 6.0, utilizing the resources in PEO IWS 6.0 Program Office Systems Engineering, Business and Finance, and Logistics.
You will help identify where corrective action is needed, and provide assistance to managers and supervisors where problems exist or are developing.
You will perform as a prime contact for PEO IWS 6.0 for certain program projects under management responsibility and provide information and advice to higher level managers when the work of the unit impacts other groups.
You will execute project management duties to include: financial planning, development of Statements of Work (SOW), Task Planning Sheet (TPS), in-service engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), and ship integration tasks.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical and administrative oversight of Enterprise Working Groups or Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) for combat or warfare systems production and logistics material management.
