This is a non-bargaining unit position.
This is not a (drug) testing designated position (TDP).
This position is located in the Office of Diversity Inclusion and Civil Rights-EEO in Washington, D.C. Process and investigate complaints of discrimination, coordinate resolutions through mediation, write final agency decisions, participate in management reviews/EEO site evaluations, develop and conduct training and briefing sessions for employees and special projects in the Agency.
Duties
Process complaints of discrimination, identifies and drafts issues and bases in complaints.
Prepares Final Agency Decisions.
Conduct EEO Investigations and management inquiries.
Prepare documents that present facts, analyses, conclusions and recommendations.
Serve as spokesperson for EEO at conferences, meetings and conduct briefings and trainings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
Qualifications
GS-13: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes: (1) processing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints to include researching, counseling, resolving cases; and (2) writing complex equal employment and discrimination summaries to support agency decisions; and (3) developing and implementing Federal equal employment and Alternative Dispute Resolution requirements; and (4) coordinating or conducting EEO training or presentations. This must be clearly demonstrated in your resume.
