You will serve as a Fleet Limited Duty Liaison Specialist in the Directorate for Administration, Patient Administration Department, Medical Boards Section, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
Duties
You will serve as the Liaison Specialist for the Limited Duty (LIMDU) program with the responsibility of performing a variety of liaison and administrative assignments to accomplish the mission of the organization and the command.
You will establish and maintain continual liaison with Limited Duty (LIMDU) counselors, coordinators, medical providers, command leadership, and senior enlisted advisors/monitors.
You will coordinate efforts with multiple Marine battalions with the Limited Duty Program tracking and assist tenant command leadership in identifying the specific needs of their personnel in a Limited Duty status.
You will educate medical providers on the proper documentation of care and duty status of injured service members and Limited Duty coordinators and counselors on program improvements.
You will prepare and review monthly reports on program activities, progress, status, and/or other special reports for management, tenant, and regional commands.
You will make complete arrangements for conferences, meetings and briefings.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
-Experience establishing and maintaining continual liaison with counselors, coordinators, medical providers, and Command leadership.
-Experience conducting research and providing information on patients being tracked on limited duty.
-Experience applying fact-finding and investigative techniques to gather evidence of compliance with regulations.
-Experience using automated medical systems, such as CHCS, AHLTA, etc., to input, retrieve, and manipulate data.
-Experience analyzing and using medical terminology and diagnosis.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
