About the Position: Serves as the Chief of the Sustainable Range Program (SRP) Branch of the G7 Training and Mission Support Division of the G3/5/7 Directorate, HQ Installation Management Command (IMCOM).
Duties
Serve as Chief of the Battle Command Training Support Program
Responsible for staff leadership, management, direction and coordination.
Provide policy and procedural guidance.
Analyze programs that affect command capability.
Supervises management analysts and training specialists.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Manage the command training support plans and operations; Experience in conducting necessary coordination with all levels of personnel; Supervises staff to include schedules, evaluations, grievances and personnel actions; Experience with training plans appropriate to the command and proponent. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-13.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
