About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support.
Duties
Responsible in the development of existing assets and adding new Facility and Production Equipment (FE and PE) into a Computer Maintenance Management System (FEMS - Facility Equipment Management System).
Perform quality checks of data entered in the FEM System and make updates as necessary regarding Asset Development.
Participate in the development of preventive maintenance (PM) schedules for each asset.
Requirements
- This position requires a Moderate Risk Background Investigation Tier 2 (MBI).
- Incumbent must obtain and maintain a government driver's license.
- This position requires a pre-employment physical.
- May be required to wear PPE such as gloves, safety glasses or hearing protection while surveying equipment for job plan and LOTO development.

Qualifications:
In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes knowledge of and skill in applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations. Preventive Maintenance schedules of assets. Knowledge to conduct equipment surveys, safety procedure; ability to develop lock out tag out procedures on equipment.
OR
Education: I have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position. OR
Combination: Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
