You will serve as an AIRSPACE PLANNER in the Integrated Joint Fires Center (J8IJF), Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division (J81), Requirements and Resources Directorate (J8), Headquarters, of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will identify capability gaps, prioritize requirements, shape and create solutions, advocate for resources, execute funding, and provide key analyses to enable the US Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) to implement the National Defense Strategy.
You will provide overarching expertise in the planning of: full spectrum operations planning; manned and unmanned platform operations; kinetic and non-kinetic attacks; special munition considerations.
You will develop integrated Joint fires response options for the National Command Authority during crisis action planning.
You will ensure work products meet planning objectives and policy compliance.
You will manage all aspects of Airspace support to theater integrated fires Joint planning, to include attack coordination, target deconfliction, and command guidance for the maneuver of forces utilizing airspace in the execution of fires.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following;
Working with subject matter experts from across the Joint Force in the planning of integrated Joint Fires plans supporting command operations.
Optimizing unity of effort through developing, publishing, and updating integrated Joint fires plans in alignment with the Commander's intent and priorities of effort.
Coordinating with joint forces, sub-unified commands, service components, and functional components to ensure contingency and crisis planning provides support in accordance with combatant command priorities.
Advocating for intelligence and targeting support from other combatant commands, the national level integrated fires community, and the National Command Authority.
Utilizing targeting applications such as the Joint Targeting Toolbox (JTT), the Modern Integrated Database (MIDB) and the Joint Automated Deep Operations Coordination System (JADOCS).
Contributing to the development of a Joint Fires Network (JFN) to expedite future fires, bridging sensors to shooters through a federated common data layer.
