About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), Special Staff, Office of the Inspector General.
Advanced Leave Accrual and Advanced In-Hire are available for those candidates who are new to Federal service and highly qualified.
Duties
Serve as a senior DHA analyst applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to assess agency and workforce performance and provide advice to the Director, DHA, Deputy Director, DHA, and the Inspector General.
Serves as a focal point for the assessment of DHA workforce performance to include challenges and opportunities, management practices, and organizational culture using scientific principles and research methods.
Uses a variety of methods including surveys, focus groups, and other feedback mechanisms to assist senior leadership in identifying issues and driving improvements.
Operates under the general direction of the Director, Inspections and Inspector General, DHA to conduct inspections within the Agency.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

Specialized Experience is defined as: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal government which includes: 1) Experience designing and developing oversight assessment programs and tools as appropriate to improve the Enterprise mission accomplishment, supervisor and employee performance, and organizational culture; 2) Experience developing and implementing plans, procedures, and schedules for conducting OIG Inspections; and 3) Experience making recommendations to improve how the OIP collects, analyzes, manages, and presents information.
