As a Project Manager, you will you will be responsible for overall project management of Prospectus Level projects, or projects that entail complex building and/or leasing projects.Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Office of Design and Construction and Capital Projects, Washington, D.C. We are currently filling multiple vacancies. 

Duties

Senior project manager with responsibility for overall project management of prospectus level or equally or precedent setting projects. Oversee the project management of the most complex building and/or leasing projects from the preliminary planning stage through the design, construction, equipment installation, and check-out stage. Identify, manage, integrate and/or adapt resources to achieve project goals while effectively managing scope, schedule, and budget for assigned projects.  Determine project risk and assess project activities and resources to mitigate risk on behalf of the government. Manage all aspects of the project’s finances with the client including preparation, negotiation, presentation, approval, and communication of pricing, occupancy agreements, reimbursable work authorizations, and project budget.

This experience must include Managing complex projects (balancing scope/quality, schedule, budget, and risk) requiring the services of multiple disciplines (i.e., construction, design, IT, telecommunications, interior furnishings, etc.) from project initiation phase through financial closeout; Interpreting multi-level customer needs and developing them into actionable requirements; Developing, managing, and balancing project plans, budgets, and schedules, including assessing risk and developing appropriate mitigation strategies; Managing multiple stakeholders by developing relationship strategies; Applying procurement knowledge and experience to manage contracts supporting assigned projects; and negotiating sound real estate business transactions. It is preferred that you have: PMP Certification and/or FAC-COR certification.
