As a Facilities Project Manager, you will interpret and implement Department of Energy (DOE) policies, standards and procedures relating to office renovations. You will interact with the customers to provide a turnkey office space that involves coordinating the design, development of construction documents and specifications. It also includes the execution/supervision of other services required for customer to re-occupy their space (i.e. paint, carpet, etc.).

- This position is included in a Bargaining Agreement.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
- This position has been designated as a Tier 5 and requires a security clearance at the Q level. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain this clearance level; failure to do so may result in separation from federal service.
- This position requires federal acquisition certification for COR with the appropriate level of certification to be obtained within the required time provided.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL the following:
Drafting reports related to building management operations, constructions, alterations, fund expenditures, billing, and general facilities services;
Advising on office services for, constructions and repairs, and renovations to physical facilities; and
Assisting in planning and coordinating the management programs for the construction, alteration, repair, office services and improvement of leased facilities.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
