This position is in the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of the Secretary, Office of Facilities, Information and Asset Management, DOT Event Center. The incumbent manages the following programs: broadcast quality audio-visual productions, special events, and conference center room management

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience managing the day-to-day operations of an Event Center that oversees audio-visual production (i.e. in person and hybrid events), coordinating meetings for a conference center and large special events for high-level dignitaries.
Experience in production of social media videos and press events from onsite and offsite locations.
Experience providing technical expertise of audio-visual equipment (i.e. digital and analog) and audio-visual production processes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Multimedia Technologies - Knowledge of the principles, methods, tools, and techniques to develop or apply technology using text, audio, graphics, or other media.
Administration and Management - Knowledge of planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production.
Leadership - Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations.
Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
