You will serve as a TRAINING TECHNICIAN in the Curriculum & Instructional Standards Division of RECRUIT TRAINING COMMAND.
Duties
You will assist with developing lesson plans, training costs, programmed texts or computer assisted instruction, and Training Project Plans for the effectiveness of the curriculum, training material and tests.
You will analyze the collection and reporting of student and course/class transaction data via the Navy Integrated Training Resources and Administration System (NITRAS)/ or Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS).
You will gather data and documentation from varied sources such as training manuals, training courses, Naval Standards, technical publications, Maintenance and Material Management (3-M) system, service manuals, on-site observation, and interviews.
You will perform curriculum data entry duties utilizing training software; retrieve, display or print course related material, student and instructor guides, testing materials and course control documents.
You will assist in developing surveys to validate effectiveness of training.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing education and training documents to ensure material is completed in accordance with established regulations and procedures; 2) Utilizing automated systems to enter, maintain and or retrieve student, curriculum and/or course data; 3) Providing assistance to research, analyze and resolve training management and training program issues; 4) Updating databases to retrieve information and respond to technical queries in support program objectives; and 5) Researching, preparing, and distributing office records, files, and status reports.
