As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overall project management of the most politically sensitive and complex Lease Acquisition prospectus level projects.
Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Office of Design and Construction and Capital Projects, Washington, D.C.
We are currently filling three vacancies, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
Oversee the business management of the most complex building and/or leasing projects from project identification, through initiation, planning, execution, and closeout stages
Oversees and/or reviews project designs and coordinates development of design and specification packages for purposes of bid and determines construction completion times and reviews overall cost estimates.
Manage all aspects of the project’s finances with the client including preparation, negotiation, presentation, approval, and communication of pricing, occupancy agreements, reimbursable work authorizations, and project budget.
Determines project documents and cost estimates to achieve the goals of the master plan. Identifies, manages, integrates and/or adapts resources to achieve project goals while effectively managing scope schedule and budget for assigned projects.
Direct and lead development of comprehensive and detailed project plans including methodology, resource requirements, timelines, priorities and budget impact.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $132,368 per year. If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience applying real estate lease acquisition approach and experience working with requirements development all the way through to tenant move in. Experience includes leading of advanced project management concepts, practices, and methodologies in order to manage multiple projects of various sizes, complexities, and political sensitives. Such experience must reflect experience in the use of Project Management tools performing planning, scheduling, budgeting, estimating, cost analysis and risk management control, tracking, oral and written reporting, as well as forecasting for such projects.
It is preferred that you have: PMP Certification and/or FAC-COR certification.
