This position is located at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Medical Center, Madison, WI in the Environmental Management Service (EMS)program. The incumbent serves as Environmental Care Specialist with focus on program analysis for EMS.
Qualifications
To apply for this position, you must have the following qualifications:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS 9) in Federal Service that includes performing the following duties: tracks and analyzes data related to all Environmental Service Programs including interior design, sanitation, pest control and linen; establishes reporting requirements and assumes follow-up responsibility for studies/projects/reports; works with Training Instructor to develop training programs related to methods and procedures for employee performance improvement; develops audit criteria for conducting cost reviews and participates in programmatic cost reviews.

EDUCATION (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): I have successfully complete Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related
OR
COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): I have equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate-level education (beyond 18 semester hours) and specialized experience, as described above, which meet the total experience requirements for this grade level. The education portion must include graduate courses directly related to the work of this position.

IMPORTANT: A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. All experience listed on your resume must include the month and year start/end dates.
